Coatesville Arsonists Provoking More Cooperation With Law Enforcement

44 fires in 13 months are cracking the glass in a longstanding "no-snitch" ethos outside of Philadelphia in Coatesville. Some worried residents are cooperating with authorities, encouraged to tip anonymously on arsonist activity if they are privy to any information. These sorts of problems are pretty glaring signs of urban decay, common during times of recession. Desperate property owners set fires to collect on insurance settlements and abandoned buildings are often the targets of firebugs and drug activity that could lead to fires.
